Super Bowl MVP's
Pittsburgh appeared in 5 super bowls. 4 of course were victories for the Black & Gold...however only 3 Steelers went to Disneyland based on their performance on Super Sunday. Franco Harris, Lynn Swann and Terry Bradshaw. Below are some stat's from those great efforts.

Franco Harris
#32

MVP

34 rushes, 158 yds, 1td

During Super Bowl IX, Franco Harris showed why the Steelers made him their number 1 draft pick in 1972. Rushing for 158 with a long gainer of 25yds, Franco and the Steelers ball control offense helped them gain their first Super Bowl victory.
Franco would go on with the Steelers to gain more than 11,000 yds and 3 more Super Bowls rings. Their is no doubt, Franco Harris's Super Bowl IX performance is was worthy of mvp honors.

Lynn Swann
#88

MVP

4 catches, 161 yds, 1 td

Although 4 catches seems a little light for an MVP, the catches that Lynn Swann made were legendary. Catching one pass while his entire body was out of bounds, yet getting both feet in bounds for a perfect catch. The bomb Swann caught in the middle of the field

can only be measured as greatness. Lynn Swann earned this mvp. A pure Hall of fame performance

Terry Bradshaw
#12

MVP

SB 13 318 yds, 4tds
SB 14 309 yds, 2tds

Who can argue that Terry Bradshaw's performance in Super Bowl's 13 and 14 weren't MVP quality. During SB 14, the game was tight coming out of halftime before Bradshaw, who was allowed to call his own plays, threw 2 bomb's to John Stallworth, setting up the Steelers 4th Super Bowl ring and his 2nd MVP in a row. Also, Terry Bradshaw's performance in Super Bowl X was worthy of an MVP as well... of course Lynn Swann's showing was primetime. In the end, Terry Bradshaw was Not stupid, as some Cowboys might have thought, instead he was a mastermind that could beat you from anywhere on the field.
